Spring Community Cleanup — April 2026

It’s that time of year again! The Royalwood Neighbourhood Association is excited to invite all residents to our annual Spring Community Cleanup. Whether you’re looking to make a difference in your neighbourhood or just want to spend time with your neighbours, this is a fantastic opportunity to get involved.

Event Details

When: Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Where: Meet at the Royalwood Community Centre parking lot
What to bring: A good attitude and the desire to help! We’ll provide gloves, garbage bags, grabber tools, and light refreshments.

What We’ll Be Doing

Last year’s cleanup was a huge success, with over 60 volunteers removing litter from streets, pathways, and green spaces throughout Royalwood. This year, we’re planning to cover even more ground. Teams will spread out across the neighbourhood to tackle everything from picking up litter along the main corridors to clearing pathways in our community parks.

The City of Winnipeg has been incredibly supportive of our efforts, and they’ll have a waste truck on-site to collect all the materials we gather. This makes the process smooth and ensures everything is disposed of responsibly.
